The agreement between you and Lotus Index
Last updated 7 October 2026
Lotus Index (lotusindex.com) is a price tracker and collection tool for Magic: The Gathering, provided by Lotus Index, operated by an individual based in Portugal.
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the site. By creating an account you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, and the Disclaimer explains the limits of the price information we show.
You can ask us to connect a Cardmarket account so its offers appear in Your Index. By doing so you confirm that the account is yours, or that you are allowed to manage its listings, and you authorise us to read its public offers on your behalf.
We review each request and may decline one we can’t verify. Imports depend on Cardmarket’s site, so they may be delayed, incomplete or interrupted, and update frequency depends on your plan. Lotus Index isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Cardmarket.
The Free plan costs nothing. Pro is a monthly subscription at the price shown on Pricing when you subscribe, including VAT where it applies. What each plan includes is listed there.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw from a Pro subscription within 14 days of subscribing without giving a reason (Decreto-Lei 24/2014). At checkout you ask us to start Pro straight away. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, we refund what you paid minus a proportional amount for the days Pro was active.
To withdraw, email support@lotusindex.com from your account’s email address saying you want to withdraw from your Pro subscription (you may use the EU model withdrawal form, but you don’t have to). We refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving it.
Please don’t:
If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account. Unless the breach is serious or the law stops us, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
Your collection data and notes stay yours. You let us store and process them only to provide the service to you, and you can export or delete them at any time.
The site’s design, code, Index calculations and text belong to us. Card names, images and symbols are the property of Wizards of the Coast; card data and images are provided through Scryfall. Lotus Index is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, Scryfall or Cardmarket.
We work to keep Lotus Index available and accurate, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or by problems with our providers or data sources. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a Pro feature you have paid for, we will tell you, and you may cancel and get a refund of the unused part of the current period.
Prices, Index values and predictions are estimates for information only and not financial advice — see the Disclaimer. We aren’t liable for decisions you make to buy, sell or insure cards based on them.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury, intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any of your statutory rights as a consumer (such as the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services).
You can delete your account at any time from Account → Profile; a live Pro subscription is cancelled at the same time. We may close an account under Acceptable use, or close the service entirely with at least 30 days’ notice and a refund of any unused paid period. Before your account is closed you can export your data from Account → Profile.
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. For changes that affect you materially we will give at least 30 days’ notice on the site or by email. If you don’t agree, you can cancel Pro or delete your account before they take effect.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
Contact us first at support@lotusindex.com — most problems are quickly fixed. If we can’t resolve a consumer dispute, you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. In Portugal that is the CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo; for more options, see the Portuguese consumer portal consumidor.gov.pt.
